I designed this site using xhtml, css, and some java. I designed this site for simplicity, using the newest technologies. Freeware was used to create thumbnail pictures, the menu bar, and general site coding.

I tried to optimize for slow downloads by

• Using thumbnails to open larger photo
• Limiting the number of thumbnails per page to 24.
• Using simple, formatted html pages for documents

I designed to use the "Back" button for navigation. If this is a problem, let me know...

How I designed this page:

• Created menu bar with code taken from brainjar.com (free)
• Page design done in xhtml using 1st Page 2000 (free editor)
• Thumbnails for gallery created using Gallery 1.5.5 (freeware)
• News scroll code is java taken from javascriptsource.com (free)

As you see, there is no reason to buy anything to maintain site.
