Andrew Loomis was the premier commercial illustrator of the '40s and '50s. Responsible for numerous print ads, billboards, and calendars; his romantic and imaginative style inspired artists throughout America.

Loomis had a huge impact on my art during adolescence. His educational books were an invaluable source of information and instruction.

(Although, I mostly liked lookin' at the pichurs -- hee.)
