Balthazar and Ed had a job.
Every night, before the sun came up, they planted
new flowers to make the forest more beautiful.
It was somewhat dark in the forest.
The trees grew closely together and blocked out the sky.
They had no clock to tell them what time it was.
They just had to be rely on their fairy instincts to tell
them when it was time to go home.

As Balthazar and Ed walked in the forest
planting their flowers, they listened to the animals which
came out at night.

One night, they found a little puppy
in the woods. Of course to them, he looked rather large!
They liked the puppy very much, but he
was much to big to live in their little house.
They looked far and wide for a home for the
little puppy.
Finally, they found a big people house
where a little girl lived! The puppy was very happy.
Oh! But it was almost time for the sun
to come up!
