Our library has been suspended until further notice.
It recently came to my attention that AMAZON.COM sells books
that deliberately promote the sexual abuse of children.
Although Amazon.com provides a service to internet shoppers,
it also sells titles like Loving Sander by Joseph Geraci,
a book promoting and romanticizing pedophilia. Amazon.com has sold thousands
of copies of this book and
other books dealing favorably with pedophilia -- which, remember,
is a crime in all fifty states.
Amazon.com was contacted in reference to this problem.
Their response was, in effect, we're sorry you feel that way,
but Amazon.com is committed to serving all of our customers.
Until Amazon.com is willing to take a stand against the
sexual abuse of children, we will not do business with them.
