NOTABLE CHARACTERISTICS OF LAKE OR FISHERY: Scenic area of Osage Hills, water is clear and lake has many coves and two large islands.

SPECIAL REGULATIONS: Minimum 14" length limit on all "black bass". A daily limit of 5 striped bass hybrids of which only two may be 25" or longer.
HABITAT TYPES STATUS AND IMPROVEMENTS: Shoreline ranges from steep rocky and tree covered slopes to gental sloping prairie grassland. Flooded standing timber is present in about the upper third of the lake and in many coves in the mid section. 17 brush rows were built prior to impoundment.
MANAGEMENT STRATEGY: Stock hybrid stripers annualy to maintain fishery. Evaluate the developing lake strain smallmouth bass, walleye and other "Black Bass" fisheries with annual electrofishing and gillnet surveys.
OTHER COMMENTS: White bass ere first collected in 1993 although now introduced by Oklahoma Department of Wildlife. Walleye abundance is low although successful spawns are occurring.
