SPECIAL REGULATIONS: 14" minimum length limit on bass

HABITAT TYPES STATUS AND IMPROVEMENTS: Natural habitat has deteriorated. Limited areas of aquatic vegetation are present. Fish aftractor habitat has been installed at 77 sites.

MANAGEMENT STRATEGY: Continue the water level manipulation plan with the Corps of Engineers to improve recruitment conditions for fish. Refurbish existing fish attractor sites and install new sites. Stock smailmouth bass to establish a new fishery. Continue the 14" minimum length limit on bass. Conduct spring, summer and fall electrofishing to monitor the fish population.

OTHER COMMENTS: Stocking of reservoir strain smallmouth bass in selected areas of the lake having appropriate habitat appears to be successful in introducing this species.
